'Tis the season!

Just a quick and friendly reminder that this season is full of shows and events.

Amanda Henderson of Jewelust, and Sasha Oda of Archerade, will be taking part in a show next weekend. Yay!

The show is called #localTOmrkt, and showcases the work of 40 or so local artisans and designers. It is located at the corner of Yonge and Gould, just north of Dundas Square.

They will be at the show next weekend only, Saturday December 6 and Sunday December 7, from noon until 10pm both days.

Stop by, say hello, and support your small local businesses!

Snowflakes

Well, it was nice and wintery white out there for awhile BUT this is November so I guess I can't be too surprised we've reverted back to grey and dreary this quickly. To pick up the spirits today as I mind the studio I walked around and picked out a few pieces that remind me of the fluffy white sparkle we got to enjoy this week.
Let it snow!*
*in moderation and only ever beautiful fluffy white snow that can be shoveled easily kthnx

Custom work

Hello friends!

I know that the temperature has only begun its descent down the thermometer, but just a reminder that the holiday season is not that far off. Yikes!

If you've ever considered having jewellery custom-made for you, or for a loved one, now is a great time to get started. No time like the present, for getting presents haha! We love working one-on-one with you to create something special and unique; whatever your vision, we can help you make it a reality.

Made by Sasha Oda of Archerade, these gold stacking rings were designed for a very special friend. They were made using the gold and diamonds from sentimental jewellery, accumulated over a lifetime of birthdays and graduations. It was a wonderful way to incorporate special treasures into new pieces, instead of keeping them locked away in a jewellery box somewhere.

Of course, you don't need to use old pieces to make something new. All you need is an idea, and we can take care of the rest!

Stop by the studio, or call to make an appointment.
See you soon!

Jewellery Class Season!

This is the time of year when Jewel Envy runs a lot of one-day workshops. They are the perfect early holiday gift! Buy one for the DIY-er in your family, or take a class with your bestie, because what better gift is there than good memories? (Other than jewellery, of course!)

Next up is an ornament making class on November 15th, and a stacking ring class on November 16th.

In the ornament class you can learn to make holiday ornament, or even just a pretty window hanger. You can use it to decorate your own home, or give it as a thoughtful, handmade gift.

In the stacking ring class, you will learn to make thin sterling silver rings that can be stacked together on one finger for visual oomph, or wear them scattered on different fingers. I hear that's how the cool kids wear them.

Sign up in store, or online at www.jewelenvy.ca
You can see a complete list of classes that are running until the end of December.

Learn to make plain polished rings, textured rings, twisted wire rings, and rings with small shapes!
